What to know when buying an Air Conditioner

Air Conditioning Sales & Installation

Most homes in this day and age have air conditioning systems. Some are installed for luxury while others are a necessity especially in areas with warm climates.

The systems can be expensive and require a huge amount of power to run.

As a homeowner, you need to work with a company that will provide you the necessary research so you can make an informed buying decision.

There are a few things you should look for when purchasing a new air conditioning unit and the installation.

Working mechanism

Air conditioning systems move heat from the inside of the house to the outside to cool your home.

They pull the heat out and cool the air by blowing it over evaporator coils that consist of cold pipes.

The evaporator coils fill with a refrigerant, a special cooling liquid that changes to gas when absorbing heat from the air.

The refrigerant pumps into a condenser that cools it down and changes it back into liquid.

The system uses a compressor pump that moves the refrigerant from the evaporator coil and the condenser.

Energy efficiency

Energy efficient air conditioning systems are a must for homeowners who want to have a sustainable system.

Energy efficiency for the cooling system is measured in seasoned energy efficient ratings (SEER) that range from 13 to 24.

Go for systems with a higher SEER because they are more energy efficient.

They may have high initial cost, but this will pay itself through long-term energy savings.

Professional HVAC

It is the dream of every homeowner to get a high-quality air conditioning system that will last for years without disappointments.

As an experienced HVAC company, we know the good and bad points of each system and can help guide you through the system that best meets your needs.

Once you have selected a system, our professionals can install the system in a professional manner.
